AGE LIMITS
EA age limits apply
- JUNIOR: Calendar year in which the rider turns 12, until the calendar year in which they turn 18.

EA STALLION POLICY
For riders under the age of 18 wishing to compete on a stallion, please refer to the Stallion Safe Practice rules and regulations on the Equestrian Australia website. These regulations also apply to grooms/handlers under 18 years of colts/stallions.
DRESS
Formal dress rules apply. Jackets must be worn for all official classes (1.05m and above). Any person mounted on a horse must be wearing a properly secured helmet, which must comply with Australian or European helmet standards, and be wearing appropriate footwear. Please note all helmets must be tagged by 30 June 2022. Helmet tagging will be available at this event.
DRAWS
Draws for classes will be published the evening prior to the days classes and will be available on Global.
ARENA 1 always takes precedence over the other arenas and will strictly run in draw order. While draw order is preferable in Arena 2 and 3, both arenas will run with a whiteboard draw.
Competitors in ARENA 2 and 3 are asked to advise the marshall if they are scratching from a class once it has started. Riders in Arena 2 or 3 who have not presented to the marshall after a ‘Final Call’ is made, risk missing their class. Riders in Arena 2 and 3 who are competing on multiple horses in the one class are asked to organsie their rounds and not present at the end of the class with multiple horses to ride.
HORS CONCOURS (HC)
HC entries will only be accepted at the discretion of the Committee. Any HC start will render that horse non-competitive for that day across all three arenas.
PRIZES AND PLACINGS
JNSW INDOOR TITLES - SCORING SYSTEM
Points: A rider is allocated points according to their result in each round of the Title (two rounds in total, no final). First placed starter is allocated as many points as there are starters, plus one (1), in descending order to the last placed starter who is allocated one (1) point for the Round. For example, in a class with 30 starters, first placed will be allocated 31 points, second place 29 points, third place 28 and so on, down to the last placed starter who is allocated 1 point. Points from both rounds are added together and the highest scoring starter is declared the overall winner. Equality of points: If there are competitors on equal first for points at the conclusion of the two rounds, the Title will be awarded to the competitor (of those on overall equal first points) who placed highest in the Grand Prix or Jump Off class.
