AUSTRALIAN EQUINE INSTITUTE NRC SJ 12TH FEBRUARY 2023
Welcome to our Unofficial 12th February SJ event - let's hope that this year will be more successful that 2022 and the weather will be kind to us.
We are very excited to confirm that Australian Equine Institute are once again supporting NRC SJ for 2023 - thank you for sponsoring and supporting us again for another year.
NRC SJ are pleased to announce that Hygain/Mitavite are also supporting us and hope they may be present with a trade stand with information and product available to purchase at some of our future events - this company will be donating prizes at this event - please do go and say hello and ask any question you may have about feed for your horse and/or purchase some of their products if ou see them at an event.
Our team are looking for another member to assist us in running events - mostly front of house on the day and some before the event jobs - please contact Karen if you think you might be interested
NRC MEMBERSHIP
Please join our Club for the calendar year of 2023 - for all who joined our club in 2022 you will receive an automatic 30% discount for 2023 membership - please go to -

ENTRIES/PROGRAM
Maximum 3 rounds over two consecutive height classes (2 rounds at one class height (one being HC) and 1 round at consecutive height class) allowed per horse - please enter correctly - if not you will not receive a refund.
It is permitted for a horse to be ridden by 2/3 different riders but height classes must be consecutive and no more than 3 rounds are maximum permitted per horse on the day (horse welfare); if more than one rider competes in the same height class on the same horse one rider will be required to nominate that they will be riding HC (non competitive) - please advise organisers if this is the situation.
Payment is required upon entry on Global Entries Online.
You will require a wristband before you ride - these will be issued at the clubhouse.
Please note that no rider/horse are permitted at this event if they have not registered.

REFUNDS
We reserve the right to not refund any monies for incorrect entries, and/or take an administration fee of up to $10 per rider/horse combination, if refund is granted before and/or after close of entries.
No refund after close of entries unless Doctor and/or Vet Certificate provided or on discretion of event organiser.
If we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (weather and/or COVID19 related issues, or any other unforseen circumstances), a refund will be processed less a 10% of total fees paid for an admin fee.
If you scratch your entry before close of entries please advise Karen Higgins immediately to be eligible for refund. Advice received after close of entries will negate any refund.
GROUND FEE
This is compulsory fee of $10 per horse for all riders.
DRESS CODE & CLUB POLICY (EA)
Our event is run under the EA National Jumping Rules & Regulations - Article No 256 1.4 - all persons to wear properly fastened protective headgear with three point retention harness at all times when mounted.
Helmets should be tagged with yellow tag - this will be available by Karen Higgins.
Light coloured jodpurs and collared shirt please - no singlet tops!
LATE ENTRIES
$10 extra fee for any late entries after close of entries.
CHANGES OF ENTRIES ON THE DAY/AFTER CLOSE OF ENTRIES
$10 per change for anything - rider, horse, class etc etc.
DRAW
First horse on course 9am; course walk 8.30am for first two classes
The draw will run as a "whiteboard" draw which will mean that you need to present yourself to the marshal preferably knowing your draw number issued on Global, but not necessarily in that order and you will written on the whiteboard and then instructed as to when you can proceed to go into the warm up ring (4 riders only).
VOLUNTEERS
Please nominate to volunteer when you enter on Global Entries Online, or contact Nicole Johnson to volunteer - set up Saturday 11th February - time tbc (two vehicles required for towing) plus others to assist; on Sunday 12th - marshals (adults), pack up (two vehicles required) plus others to assist.

DOGS
Must be on leads at all times - not permitted in warm up arena or competition ring at any time - this includes when you are walking your course.
PARKING
Float parking only after left hand turn off to Princess Anne Arena off main track around outside of showground - no trucks in this area please.
FOOD & DRINKS
We hope to have coffee/food van in attendance for some of the day.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
We have GEOSNAPSHOT photographers availabe on the day to take all the action - all photographs will be available for purchase from their website within a few days of the competition.
